Sometimes Four Over Four Doesn't Add Up To Much

In the industry, "four over four" refers to a page that has been printed using a four-color process on the front and back side. It is a well established process that yeilds near-photographic image quality and can be affordable in large volumes. We use it, and we think it's great. In so far as four-color printing is a widespread standard though, it won't help you stand out. That's why we're always Thinking Outside The Press – to give you that little bit more.

Print Design You Can Feel With Your Eyes

At Steven Luscher Design, we're always looking for ways to help you differentiate yourself from the "four over four" club, no matter how large or small your budget. We look at how your Print piece is going to be used, and where it will be viewed. We look at alternative ink types and paper choices to compliment your message. We ask what would happen if we cut your message into the paper itself? We consider hiding part of your message behind a fold to invite play, or to strengthen meaning. Perhaps paper isn't the answer? Maybe your message needs to be pasted up, worn, projected, or shouted? We wonder if there is an opportunity to make a visual pun in three-dimensions. How about four-dimensions?

In short, we ask the questions that take your messaging to the next level.
